The Wireless Deer Fence® acts like a baited electric fence, without the fence. Each post pairs a scented attractant with a brief, harmless shock — so deer learn to stay away, and stay away for good.
HOW IT WORKS & WHAT TO EXPECT
Results build over days, not months.
Each post contains a miniature charging circuit with exposed contact wires and a scented attractant. When a deer touches the wires, it receives a brief, harmless shock and quickly retreats — learning to associate the scent of the posts with that experience.
Most customers see results quickly, but in areas with heavy deer pressure, some browsing may continue during the training period. It can take days, or sometimes weeks, for each deer to encounter a post and learn to avoid it.

SETUP
Three steps. About an hour, start to finish.
No wiring, no tools beyond what's in the box, no electrician required.

Install a scent tube
Twist a scented resin tube clockwise onto the green-handled testing tool just enough to hold it in place. Push the tube onto the center spike between the wires, then twist the tool counter-clockwise to release it.

Install batteries
Open the battery compartment by holding the upper and lower sections and pulling apart with a slight twisting motion. Insert two AA batteries with correct polarity, then reassemble firmly, making sure the O-rings are seated and not pinched.

Wait one hour, then test
After installing batteries, wait about an hour for the post to fully charge. Using the testing tool, bridge two adjacent bare wires at the top and look — or listen — for a small spark. Testing is easiest in subdued light. Never test with bare hands.
PLACEMENT
Part science, part art.
The goal is simple: put posts wherever deer are likely to encounter them. Look for trails, entry points, tracks, droppings, and favorite plants. Deer are browsers, and don't usually travel far from their normal routes.
Unlike a traditional fence, Wireless Deer Fence® posts aren't limited to the perimeter. Concentrate them around the plants deer love most, while still covering obvious routes in.

MAINTENANCE
A few minutes a month keeps it working.
Wireless Deer Fence® posts require very little upkeep, just a short seasonal rhythm.
- Replace scented resin tubes about once a month
- Test each post with the tool before swapping the tube
- Replace batteries every six months — quality batteries recommended in cold weather
- Keep posts visible by trimming back vegetation, and move them as deer activity shifts
SAFETY
Startling, not harmful.
The shock is brief and small, less than 0.15 joules. Designed to startle, not harm humans, pets, or other animals beyond momentary discomfort.
Still, this isn't a toy. Keep posts away from small children, use caution around exposed contact wires, and always discharge a post fully with the testing tool before handling it, even with batteries removed.
